Karel V

Candle castle Karel V (2016)

A tribute to Romanticism

Anyone taking a good look at karel V beholds the suspended candle emerging from the ingenious junction in the design. An optical illusion in a perpendicular design. Once the candles burn that paradox diminishes. The flames, the elegant lines of the candles that debouch into the unyielding candleholder.

The candleholder Karel V is a tribute to Romanticism. Made on a Dutch farm where old-fashioned craftmanship guarantees a dead straight alignment resulting in industrial quality.
