Dita

Glass showcase with floating silk lampshades (2012)

Showcases are often constructed out of glass and aluminum profiles. In appearance they resemble skyscrapers; undersized architecture, technical, masculine and hard. The home environment in which glass showcases are used is generally more hearty. Upholstered furniture, carpets and curtains make the interior soft, pliable and feminine.

Dita is an upholstered showcase and therefore naturally fits this contemporary home environment. Dita can be used to display your precious objects well lit. It is also a lamp on its own, a light object. The floating lampshades are made of cotton or delicate silk.
